A few words about me…

A graduate of the Academy of Music with master’s degrees in both Jazz and Classical Percussion, Golicki has developed a distinctive artistic voice that blends European lyricism with contemporary improvisation and refined rhythmic sensitivity.

As a bandleader, he has released several critically acclaimed albums, including trio recordings that showcase his subtle musical dialogue and nuanced approach to sound and form. His work has been presented at major international festivals, among them the renowned Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta.

His latest, fourth album “The Great Time”, recorded with the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot under the direction of maestro Szymon Morus and arraneged by Krzysztof Herdzin merges the language of jazz improvisation with the colors of chamber orchestra and has been met with enthusiastic critical response.

Golicki has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Mike Stern and Randy Brecker. He has also collaborated with leading figures of the Polish jazz scene, including Maciej Sikała, Grażyna Auguścik, Kuba Stankiewicz, Urszula Dudziak and many others, performing extensively across Poland and Europe.

Recognized for his ability to balance expressive power with musical restraint, he remains a sought-after collaborator in both studio and live settings.

Currently active as a performer and session drummer, Golicki continues to expand his artistic language within the contemporary global jazz landscape.
